The short version: We collect only what we need to run the app. We never sell your data. You own your tasks. You can download or delete everything directly from the app at any time.

We do not collect location data, device identifiers, or browsing history outside our app.

3. How We Use Your Data

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

4. Data Storage

Your tasks and settings are stored securely in the cloud using Supabase and sync across all your devices. We do not store task data locally in your browser. You can download a copy of your tasks as a CSV at any time from Settings, and you can delete your account and all associated data directly from Settings.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser local storage to store your device preferences such as display settings. This data never leaves your device. Supabase uses a session cookie strictly necessary for authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Your Rights

Regardless of where you are located, you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. You can export your tasks as a CSV or delete your account and all data directly from the Settings panel in the app. You can also contact us at hello@massdistractions.app.

European Union (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and port your data. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

United Kingdom (UK GDPR)

Same rights as GDPR apply. You may contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) with complaints.

Canada (PIPEDA)

You have the right to access your personal information and challenge its accuracy. You may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Australia (Privacy Act)

You have the right to access and correct your personal information. You may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

California (CCPA/CPRA)

You have the right to know what data we collect, delete your data, opt out of sale (we do not sell data), and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

All Other Regions

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting hello@massdistractions.app.

We retain your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly from Settings in the app. Task data is deleted immediately. Payment records are retained for up to 7 years for legal compliance, then deleted.

The app is not directed at children under 13. Users between 13 and 16 in the EU/UK may require parental consent.

12. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you of significant changes by email or within the app at least 14 days before changes take effect.
